Why did you join Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ?

I joined Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ to become connected to medicine on a personal level. Everyone gets into the medical profession for a vast number of reasons, but the central theme is knowing and helping your fellow man. Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ brings people together.

Why did you become an Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ leader?

I became an Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Leader because I have seen the the positive impact that Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ has on the community that I wanted to be able to help continue its growth.

What is your Favorite Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Moment?

The recent national convention was a big highlight for the year so far. Hundreds of people coming together with so much energy and passion for medicine that it was palpable. I was able to connect with like-minded individuals and share ideas that I will be able to implement in the coming year.

What advice would you give to current & future Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ leaders?

To listen more than you speak. One of the most important tools you have as a leader and future physician is the ability to listen.

Do you know of an Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Leader who deserves to be recognized? Do you want to share your leadership story with other Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ members? ! One outstanding leader will be featured each month in Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s Leader Spotlight on the website.
