We understand it can be so profoundly difficult to bear witness to repeated acts of violence taking place in spaces where everyone should feel safe to live, learn, and exist. We are the first generations in human history to have the capacity to learn about, see, witness, or view the global sum total of human-caused violence, suffering, and death, all in an instant.聽
We recognize that each of us is living in this and through this, and we are each affected in so many ways. We know all of this takes place within a larger context of increasing escalation of other pervasive forms of violence and oppression and that this moment can feel so destabilizing and disempowering.聽
