I AM A LOOKING TO GO

Future physicians:
we chose this path as we want to make a difference in the world. And to do this today – to ensure that we truly make impact — we need to be bold. Audacious. We need to dare.

Dare ourselves to imagine a better future. Dare the world around us to be more accepting, welcoming and inclusive. Dare to try new things. And — perhaps most of all — dare to have some fun while doing it.

Why? The more we do, the less anyone will dare to stop us.

The backstory
Once a year, medical students, physicians and innovators from around the globe convene for a single purpose: to empower future physicians to become leaders — ushers of a more equitable realm of medicine. This has been Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ’s Annual Convention — now is its 73rd year: a three-day hive of learning, ideating and advocacy.

It can be hard to capture the essence of this event, but this much we do know: no one forgets their first Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ convention. The energy, the optimism, the opportunities together create an inspired alchemy like no other.

This year, we’re amplifying things.
We’re joining forces with like-minded organizations to exponentially increase our impact. Think of it as a kind of super-convention — Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵCon expanded. More voices. More ideas. More change. More fun.

To this end, we’ve assembled a band of allied organizations who share our commitment to supporting you — the next generation of physicians — to become tomorrow’s medical changemakers. We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve teamed up with Medical Students for a Sustainable Future (MS4SF), the Asian Pacific Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ (APÄ¢¹½ÊÓƵ), Medical Students for Choice (MSFC) and, us, the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ (Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ) to host this year’s convention.

This is Future Physicians for Change.
We’re gathering this June in a new location — in Phoenix, AZ — on June 15-17 for three days of inspired learning, training, advocacy and — perhaps best of all — connection.
